BASKETRY.
A
widely practiced craft in Pakistan. Wheat straw and another
fibrous plant of Indus valley and river banks of Punjab and
date-palm leaves are used for weaving baskets of different sizes,
Mats, decoration pieces of different shapes and patterns are made of
this natural raw material.
